ITEM: What is with this weird humid weather. Vancouver doesn’t really do humid! I walk up the hill and there is this moisture on my forehead that feels more like condensation than sweat.

ITEM: I finished up the August comics at last. You can read the last segment here.

ITEM: Had a good time at Word on the Street on Sunday. Ed put True Loves book one on the Treasure Hunt Book Bag thing, so there are theoretically a bunch of people out there enjoying the Loves. As I talked to people I realized there is one page in TL1 that was set basically right where we were sitting. Also, it didn’t rain on us. AND it was nice to see kids get excited by the comics Mr. Wong had on display at the table next to us.

Word on the Street

Saturday, September 25th, 2010

I am going to be at Word on the Street on Sunday, September 26th! Ed has gotten an outside table for New Reliable, so come on by and say hi. Also, if all clap really hard maybe it won’t rain too much that day.

I will be selling things that you could buy from THE STORE, if you can’t make it to the library (or Vancouver).

Now You Can Buy Stuff

Monday, September 20th, 2010

After wrestling with it the past week, I have a store, so you can buy things like this recent issue of Vinegar I put together. Please let me know if it doesn’t work or something.

Also, put up a bunch more of those old D&D drawings. And there have been some camping comics going up over here.

Songs Can Save You

Friday, September 17th, 2010

Sometimes when I’m feeling down, music can turn my mood around. Not like I have been so bad the past couple of days, but these songs have pulled me out of some nose dives.

Old Drawings

Sunday, September 12th, 2010

I am having a lazy weekend here in North Vancouver, nowhere near SPX in Maryland. To entertain myself I have been scanning some old drawings of D&D adventures from around 1990. You can see them here. I have also posted the first portion of my YEAR 40 August comics here, for now.

Some More Page 100s

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Had a good time at the comic jam and the Comix and Stories. Between those and getting some comics done, it was a busy weekend. Ages ago, some more people sent me Page 100s. We have another Bukowski, Chris Woods drawing Pulp. And for a change of scene, Darko Macan takes on some portion of the Bible in Croatian! And then Darko got some of his folks to join in, so we have Jurica Staresincic doing Jean Baudrillard’s Fragments, David Vrhovski (age 14) doing a joke from a 3000 Jokes book, and Sonja Gasperov doing Akif Pirincci’s Felidae.

Late breaking news: Here is another Michael Darmanin does William Shatner’s 2009 autobiography Up Till Now.
