Hey it was sunny this week! I punched anyone who got anywhere near complaining about it being hot. After two months of listening to Vancouver whining “boohoo when’s summer going to start?!” I don’t want to hear it!

In happier news, there has been street construction around the corner from my house for a couple of weeks and so there is less traffic on the road I walk down each morning. As a result I have developed a game when I cross the street where I see just how long I can stay firmly on the road before any cars come. Pedestrian power!

In related news, the District of North Vancouver has banned skateboarding on some popular streets. Good to see crucial matters being attended to. As I walked home just now I thought I would much rather see cars banned from the streets than skateboards.
