It was the day that Spiritualized was playing, and while wandering around Queen West, half-assedly shopping for shoes, my brother and I saw that the Backstabbers were playing a 6-8 matinee show at the Cameron House. So we popped in for a couple of beers and a free show. I decided I should draw a comic of watching the band mostly because I was desperate to finish my sketchbook, was alarmed to find that I didn't have my brushpen with me but resolved to forge ahead and do my first ever drunk comic in pencil. And my sketchbook got wet and wrinkly at some point in its sordid career, so the drawings have additional shadows and crap on them.
