true loves
north vancouver launch

Manien and I decided to have a second launch for the True Loves Book at our place, for friends and family and whoever was willing to brave the North Shore.

Manien made a sign to stick out by the sidewalk.

And she also made this attractive display of the books.

We had fun shifting furniture around and removing knicknacks to make the place like a gallery.

There was a good turnout of friends from work.

In addition to the pages hung on the wall we also had the other pages in portfolios for people to look at.

A lot of comic folk turned up too. Colin Upton, and Crown Commissioners Ben, Brian, Ed and Janet. And my old pal Ryan.

Strangely there were three pregnant women and a baby at the launch. This Janet is pregnant, but the baby is actually Aura's.

So yes, a good time was had, and Manien and I had a lot of fun. After everyone except Ryan had left, we danced around some.

Colin Upton drank tea. Because that's what he does.

The poor sign got left out overnight in the rain.
