Quickly finished inking the latest True Loves. I say quickly, as I wanted to drop by the Word on the Street festival, where many local zinesters would be showing. When I visited Josue on Saturday, he told me it was this weekend. So once I got True Loves up on the site, I rushed off to hit Word on the Street before work (at 2:00). The Word on the Street is next weekend, as it turns out.

I arrived fifteen minutes early for work. And checking the schedule I realized that my shift didn't start until 2:30. Leaving me forty-five minutes to kill. He joked that I could go home and watch some Sunday afternoon sports. I didn't bother to point out that my tv doesn't get any channels. I live nice and close to work. Home again home again, where I read a bit of Greg Cook's Catch as Catch Can. Quite funny. I shaved. Then zoomed back. Then worked. We had a staff meeting in a stuffy little room. And disappointingly there was no post-meeting beer. But luckily the Beautiful Manien had bought some, for just such an emergency. So I got really drunk and surly.
